Just ran across Steve Pavlina's blog a few days ago and have been reading his posts about polyphasic sleep with interest. Giving serious thought to trying it myself, but I'll have to wait for a vacation to come up to get started. I think I can make it work with my work schedule, but the first week or so of transition would be pretty impossible while working.... I don't think my boss would like to pay me to be a groggy zombie.
Polyphasic Mutants: " I’m probably averaging something like 100 minutes of sleep per 24–hour period now. This is the pattern I seemed to have naturally (or unnaturally) settled into, and at least so far, it feels sustainable. I’ve no health problems to report, and I certainly don’t feel sleep deprived. I’ve been getting quite a lot done lately."
